• SBN has set up a vehicle to fund its clinical research through a Program-Related Investment (PRI) Fund, administered by the non-profit Venn Foundation.
• You can participate by making charitable, tax-deductible donations that are fully dedicated to SBN’s efforts on research and education.

• What is Venture Philanthropy? The attraction to donors is that in case of a "liquidity event" Venn's PRI receives a financial return from Santa Barbara Nutrients, your pro-rata share with return on investment will go back into your account, and you personally can recommend redeployment of those charitable dollars into new PRIs or grants. In other words, if SBN is successful, you may multiply your charitable funds to support additional causes. This is in contrast to traditional charitable donations that lead to no return.
